X-Men track & field distance runner Angus Rawling was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29, 2017. Angus, a second year Business student from Calgary, AB ran very well at the McGill Team Challenge in Montreal this weekend, placing fifth overall in the 3000m event. With 44 race entries, he posted a time of 8:26.15 which currently ranks him 12th overall amongst all U SPORTS athletes. He also ran the 1500m event, placing 45th amidst 80 runners with a time of 4:13.47.
