Boston Pizza StFX Female Athlete of the Week
X-Women soccer midfielder Mercy Myles was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 2, 2016. Mercy, a first year Arts student from Accra, Ghana scored both X-Women goals in Friday’s 2-1 win over Moncton. Named player of the game, Mercy opened the scoring in the 6th minute and also scored the game winner in the 63rd minute. She is currently second in team scoring with 4 points this season, is tied for 6th overall in the AUS in goals scored with six, and leads the AUS in total shots (34).
