Sabrina McDaid & Nicole MacDonald

X-Women rugby fly half Sabrina McDaid was named the co-winner of the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6, 2016. Sabrina, a fifth year Arts student from Scarborough, ON was named tournament MVP for the U Sports national champion X-Women. She scored 19 points (8 conversions and 1 penalty goal) over three weekend wins as the X-Women took home the national championship banner for the 5th time in the past 10 years. Sabrina also garnered tournament all-star honors.

X-Women soccer goalkeeper Nicole MacDonald was named the co-winner of the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6, 2016. Nicole, a fourth year Business student from Kanata, ON was named tournament MVP for the AUS champion X-Women. She played 327 minutes in three weekend wins for StFX as two games went into overtime. Nicole made 19 saves over the course of the weekend, coming up with many key saves to keep her team in every game en route to the conference banner.
