X-Women soccer midfielder Alix Bruch was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 13, 2016. Alix, a fifth year athlete from Calgary, AB played two strong games for the X-Women at the U Sports national championship in Wolfville, NS this past weekend. She received player of the game honors for her effort in StFX’s close 1-0 loss to Queen’s Thursday in quarterfinal action, and again was one of the leaders on the field Friday in the X-Women’s close 2-1 loss in penalty kicks to Acadia in the consolation semifinal.
