X-Men basketball center Cameron Walker was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 31, 2016. Cameron, a third year Business student from Dallas, TX played two consistent games for the X-Men despite a pair of weekend losses. In their game against Cape Breton, Cameron scored 13 points and had 9 rebounds and 2 assists. In the X-Men’s loss to SMU on Saturday he was the high scorer in the game with 23 points, along with 5 rebounds and 1 block. He shot 17 for 29 from the floor over the 2 games and is currently averaging 10.5 PPG and 5.5 RPG.
