X-Men soccer midfielder Liam Elbourne was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 13, 2015. Liam, a second year Business student from Halifax, NS received player of the game honors in the X-Men’s 4-0 shutout victory over CIS ranked No. 4 UNB on Sunday afternoon. Liam scored three goals for the X-Men in the win. He opened scoring in the 12^th minute of the game and also scored in the 78^th minute and off a penalty kick in the 90^th minute of play. In the X-Men’s 1-1 tie with Moncton on Saturday, Liam also played a strong game for X, registering four shots.
