X-Women soccer midfielder Margaux Fraser was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 28, 2014. Margaux, a first year Business student from Mississauga, Ont. scored the lone goal in each of the two X-Women games over the weekend. In Friday’s 3-1 loss to UNB, Margaux scored for StFX early in the 2nd minute and received player of the game honors for her efforts throughout the game. In Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Cape Breton, Margaux again scored the lone X-Women goal, this time in the 42sd minute which held out to the be the game winner. The goals were the first of her AUS career.
