Colleen Wilson of the U Sport No. 9-ranked Dalhousie Tigers women's cross country team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 30, 2016.
A fifth-year oceanography student from Ancaster, Ont., Wilson placed first in the Subway AUS Cross Country Championships women's 6km race this past Saturday in Antigonish, N.S.
She completed the course in a time of 21:29, finishing more than a full minute ahead of the next competitor. It was her second consecutive AUS championship title, making her only the third woman in AUS history to win back-to-back titles.
She led the Tigers to their fourth consecutive team championship and extended her winning streak to four wins in as many races this season. She was also honoured as the 2016 AUS cross country female athlete of the year at the championship banquet.

Calvin DeWolfe of the U Sport No. 9-ranked StFX X-Men cross country team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 30, 2016.
A fourth-year arts student from Bridgewater, N.S., DeWolfe won the Subway AUS Cross Country Championships men's 10km race Saturday, leading the X-Men to their sixth consecutive AUS championship banner.
DeWolfe topped the field of 51 runners with a time of 32:22, capturing an individual gold medal and AUS all-star status. He was also honoured as the 2016 AUS cross country male athlete of the year.
