X-Men cross country runner Scott Donald is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Scott recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is a Human Kinetics student from Ottawa, Ont.

Nickname:  Scotty Dee. Or Little Runner Boy but only I call myself that.

My favorite StFX sporting moment to date is…?
This year the men's cross country team won AUS for the third straight year and then the men's track team also won the AUS banner for the first time since I think around 200BC. It definitely made the coaches and the school proud, and maybe even Jesus if he was watching.

If I could meet any famous person it would be…?
100 percent - hands down - no question - it would be Miley Cyrus. But I wouldn't want to just meet her, I would want to take her out to dinner and touch her hair.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
Toy Story because I have a sneaking suspicion that toys really do come to life when people aren't around. Ever wonder why they always get lost? Yea, mind blown.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
When people driving cars don't look both ways before they cross the street. They only look left because that's the direction that the first impact of a car will come from but then there's me on their right side in my running shoes waiting for the driver to look my way and if I don't make eye contact with them then I feel like there is a chance that I will die. And I don't want to die. So that's my biggest pet peeve.

My dream job is…?
Cookie taste tester? Is that a thing? If so then I want to be a chocolate chip cookie taste tester. And macadamia nut cookies too. Delicious.

My biggest fan is…?
I don't have one biggest fan I don't think. It would more be a combination of every person who appreciates the hard work and love that I put into the sport of running. I like those people.

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Ottawa is not an interesting place. I think it got voted as the most boring city in Canada last year or something. Nothing interesting here at all. If we had somebody like Rob Ford as our mayor then maybe but for the most part all this place has is clothing stores for our elders and gyms that stay open all night.

FAVORITES:

Color:  Blue. Royal blue. Like the colour of the sky at about 5pm on a clear summer's day.

Number:  8

Food:  Mashed potatoes with a little bit of salt sprinkled on top.

Holiday:  Christmas because everybody is in a good mood for a solid 2 or 3 weeks

Social Media: Twitter. I will not advertise my twitter account though because that is unprofessional.

TV show:  Breaking Bad but it's over!!! Now I guess it's back to The Simpsons again.

Vacation spot:  The turf inside the StFX track. It's perfect for tanning and people-watching.

Singer/Band:  It used to be Taylor Swift but now my heart is with Miley

Item of clothing: Shoes. Unless they start to get worn out. Then hats are pretty cool I guess.

Pro sports team:  The Ottawa Senators. Look out for this team in the next few years, kids.

Pro sports athlete:  Mary Cain. Or that guy who caught his own 60 yard football pass. That guy is impressive.
