Getting to Know...Bryden Tate

X-Men cross country runner Bryden Tate is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Bryden recently completed his first year with the X-Men and is a business student from Heatherton, N.S.

What brought you to StFX?
I trained with the X cross country team last winter and had an amazing experience with the team so I felt that X was the best choice for me.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
My favorite moment was by far helping the team win the AUS banner and competing at the CIS championships last fall

One thing I cannot live without is…?
My cell phone

If I could have super hero powers I would…?
Teleport. It would save me from walking to class on those really stormy winter days.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
People walking slowly in front of me

My dream vacation destination is…?
Disney World/Florida. I went when I was in Grade 10 and I loved every moment of it, I can’t wait to go back some day.

My dream job is…?
Something outdoors where I get to move around all day, I hate sitting in one spot for too long

Tell us one thing that fans may not know about you?
I was born, raised, and worked on my family’s dairy farm my entire life
