The StFX X-Women (3-5-3) dropped a 2-1 decision to the Acadia Axewomen (7-2-2) in AUS soccer action Sunday afternoon in Wolfville.
Freshman forward Kevyn Timmons opened the scoring for the X-Women in the 53rd minute.
Meghan Earle scored a pair in the 89th minute and in extra time to give the home team the victory.
The Axewomen outshot the X-Women 14-7.
Maris Miller made five saves for the blue and white.
StFX will wrap up the regular season with a pair of home matches.
Friday, Oct. 25, the X-Men will host the rival Cape Breton University Capers at Oland Stadium.
Game time is 3 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 27, the Memorial SeaHawks will be in Antigonish for an 11 a.m. kick-off.
