X-Women soccer defender/midfielder Bobbie Martin is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Bobbie recently completed her second year with the X-Women and is a Science student from Ottawa, Ont.

What brought you to StFX? 
I wanted to go to school on the east coast or the west coast. When it came time to decide I realized my visit to StFX was by far the best. No other school was like StFX, everyone was so friendly and I loved the spirit of the school.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far? 
Beating CBU in my first year, it was extremely exciting
 
One thing I cannot live without is…? 
Hiking, I love the outdoors!

If I could have super-hero powers I would…? 
Definitely fly

My biggest pet peeve is…? 
People who chew their food loud

My dream vacation destination is…? 
New Zealand

My dream job is…? 
To be honest I am not too sure yet, a Pediatrician would be amazing though!

Tell us one thing that fans may not know about you?
When I was in grade 12 I was not sure if I wanted to play university soccer. I made the decision to play on the plane ride to X and I made the best decision!
