Fans invited to rugby celebratory rally on Tuesday

StFX University will be hosting a celebratory rally on Tuesday, November 6th to honor and celebrate the StFX X-Women rugby team, the 2012 CIS national champions. The rally will be held at 4:00 pm at the StFX Oland Centre main gymnasium.

The X-Women claimed the CIS gold medal, their third in team history, this past Sunday on their home turf at StFX Oland Stadium with a 37-0 win over the Guelph Gryphons.

Tuesday’s rally will be a chance for the StFX and local Antigonish community to come out and show their support for the X-Women, get some autographs from the national champions and have your picture taken with the X-Women and the Monilex trophy. Please wear your blue and white colors to show your support!
