Ben Berthiaume is in his 8th season as head coach of the X-Women hockey program, and 20th season overall. A three-time AUS Coach of the Year (2023, 2018 & 2015), he guided the X-Women to the 2020 AUS championship title, the second under his tenure. He previously stepped in as interim head coach for the 2014-15 campaign where he led the X-Women to a first place finish, AUS championship and fourth place showing at the CIS championship. Berthiaume was an assistant coach with the X-Women program prior to his time as head coach, and also has coached the Antigonish midget female girls team. A native of Antigonish, N.S., Ben grew up playing in the Antigonish minor hockey system, as well as competing for the Nova AAA Midgets, Moncton Wildcats, Antigonish Jr. A Bulldogs and the StFX X-Men.
