X-Women Hockey announce commitment of forward Chloe Vukosa

ANTIGONISH, NS – StFX X-Women hockey coach Ben Berthiaume is pleased to announce the commitment of forward Chloe Vukosa to the team for the 2019-20 season.

A 5'7" left-hand forward from Mississauga, Ont., Vukosa played in the PWHL this past season with the Mississauga Chiefs, registering eight goals and seven assists in 34 games. She led her team in scoring in the playoffs with five goals and four assists in nine games.

"Chloe has a solid skill set and has a knack for making plays in the offensive zone," notes Coach Berthiaume. "She has a sneaky release and makes plays with her head up. We think that she will fit in well with our forward group and complement the talent we have up front. We are looking forward to seeing Chloe competing within our program this fall."

A left winger who adds depth and offense to the X-Women lineup, Vukosa will study in the Bachelor of Arts and Science Health program this fall at StFX.

She joins forward Jayden Thompson (Aurora, Ont.) and goaltender Jamie Johnson (Victoria, BC) as the next committed recruit to join the X-Women program for 2019-20.
