Sarah Bujold of the StFX X-Women hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Jan. 22, 2017.

A third-year human kinetics student from Riverview, N.B., Bujold was an integral part of two weekend wins for the X-Women, both over nationally ranked teams.

In Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the U Sports No. 3-ranked Saint Mary's Huskies, Bujold scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime. She also added an assist.

The X-Women came from behind to top the U Sports No. 2-ranked St. Thomas Tommies 4-3 in double overtime on Sunday. Bujold had six shots in the win.

Andrew Rieder of the Dalhousie Tigers men's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Jan. 22, 2017.

A fourth-year commerce student from Regina, Sask., Rieder helped lead the Tigers to two consecutive victories this past week.

In Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Moncton Aigles Bleus, Rieder notched Dalhousie's fourth goal of the game, halfway through the final frame, to tie the game.

In the Tigers' 3-1 win Friday over the defending AUS champion StFX X-Men in Antigonish, N.S., he scored the eventual game-winning goal and added an assist on the insurance goal.
