X-Women hockey hang onto No. 6 ranking

CIS TOP TEN TUESDAY (#18)
No changes at the top in new national rankings

OTTAWA (CIS) – There are no changes at the top in this week's CIS national rankings. 

Windsor (women's basketball), Ottawa (men's basketball), Montreal (women's hockey), Alberta (men's hockey), UBC Okanagan (women's volleyball), McMaster (men's volleyball), UBC (women's & men's swimming), Toronto (women's track & field), Guelph (men's track & field), Brock (women's wrestling) and Fraser Valley (men's wrestling) all hold on to their No. 1 status in the new polls.

One of the best matchups of the coming weekend will see the top two women's hockey teams in the country – Montreal (12-2) and McGill (11-3) - face off on Friday night at the U of M. The top-ranked Carabins, who were edged by their cross-town rivals in double overtime in last year's CIS final, have won two of three head-to-head meetings this regular season, including 5-2 (Nov. 21) and 6-4 (Jan. 18) victories and a 3-0 loss (Oct. 24).
