Alex Normore of the St. Francis Xavier X-Women's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 24, 2013.
A fourth-year human kinetics student from Bedford, N.S., Normore scored two goals and had four assists in two weekend wins for the CIS No. 4-ranked X-Women.
In Friday's 5-2 StFX victory over the Mount Allison Mounties, Normore picked up two assists. She followed up Friday's performance by posting two goals and two assists in StFX's 5-2 win Saturday over the Dalhousie Tigers.
Both of Normore's goals in Saturday's win were scored in the third period, one was a shorthanded goal and she was named Subway Player of the Game for her efforts.
In 10 games to date, Normore currently leads the country in scoring with 26 points (eight goals and 18 assists) for the AUS first-place and undefeated X-Women.

Marquis Clayton of the CIS No. 9-ranked Saint Mary's Huskies men's basketball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 24, 2013.
A second-year arts student from Halifax, N.S., Clayton posted a total of 53 points in two weekend wins over the defending AUS champion Cape Breton Capers.
Clayton boasted 30 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in Friday's 90-82 victory and another 23 points and six assists in Saturday's 92-74 win.
He now sits third in AUS scoring with an 18.5 points-per-game average and first in assists with an average of 6.2 per game.
