Come out and show your support for breast cancer research! The X-Women basketball team will be raising funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Atlantic Division).
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. There will be breast cancer awareness ribbons available for a donation to the cause. 50/50 tickets will be on sale and pink StFX T-shirts and merchandise will be on sale. All proceeds raised at the game will be donated towards breast cancer awareness and research.
The CIS Women’s Basketball Coaches Association is entering into its ninth year of their annual ‘Shoot for the Cure’ fundraising campaign with all 47 CIS women's basketball schools taking part. The X-Women basketball team has been hosting an annual breast cancer fundraiser since the 2006-07 season.
