OSHAWA, Ont. – The StFX X-Women defeated the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 75-64 Wednesday night in pre-season exhibition action.
This year marks the inaugural season for the Ridgebacks as their program's first victory was within reach in their third pre-season game.

StFX held an 18-9 lead after the first quarter of play and were up 35-30.
After three quarters the Ridgebacks trailed by only three points, but a strong fourth quarter for the X-Women gave them some further separation and the 75-64 victory.

Alyssa Carin (Brampton, ON) had a solid game as well, going 6-for-6 from the free throw line with eight points and 10 rebounds.
