St. John's, NL - The Memorial Sea-Hawks sealed their fourth consecutive win in as many games after an 88-65 victory against the StFX X-Women Sunday afternoon.

StFX (0-6) has yet to earn their first victory of the season while Memorial's recent winning streak pushes them to 4-2 on the season.

Rosie Stanoev led the Sea-Hawks with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, contributing on both ends of the floor. Jessica Miller of the X-Women led her team with 12 points off the bench.

The Sea-Hawks continued to find success attacking the basket and drawing fouls. Brooklyn Wright had a solid performance as she lead Memorial at the end of the first half with 13 points. For StFX, the scoring was distributed evenly across the team, with Samantha Minicucci the leading scorer at the half with 6 points.

Memorial's defense kept the StFX shooting efficiency to a disappointing 32% from the field, and 20% from behind the arc.

A consistent spark for Memorial has been Cameron Longley, who recorded five rebounds, all of which were offensive rebounds leading to second-chance points for the Sea-Hawks. Longley finished with 8 total rebounds, providing a valuable contribution off the bench.

Memorial came out of half-time hot on offense, propelled by Rosie Stanoev's four straight three-pointers. The Sea-Hawks went on a 14-0 run, finding open shots with ease. For StFX, consistent scoring was difficult to create against a rugged Memorial defense, being held to a 35% from the field, and 32% from three-point range.

StFX will face Cape Breton on November 25th as they host the Capers in a 6:00 pm at StFX Oland Stadium. Memorial looks to continue their success against UNB in another two-game series in Fredericton on November 25-26th.
