Competing for StFX in the women's weight throw was Ellen Murphy, a fourth year thrower from Augustine Cove, P.E.I. She unfortunately fouled on three throws and did not place amongst the field of 12 in the event.

Adrian Kinney, a second year sprinter from Bristol, NB competed in the men's 60m dash. He ran a 6.91 in the preliminaries in a field of two heats and 11 sprinters. In the final race of eight runners he placed seventh with a 6.94 result.

The AUS champion X-Women 4x200m relay team competed in Edmonton. The team of Emma Floris (Vanderhoof, BC), Abbi Finnan (Kingston, ON), Allie Flower (Lunenburg, NS) and Jillian Murphy (Port Williams, NS) came in 12th place in the heats, clocking a time of 1:44.20 and did not qualify for the final race. There was three heats of four teams each in the competition.

Angus Rawling, a second year distance runner from Calgary, AB ran in the 3000m race amidst a field of 13. In a bizarre finish, the top two runners thought they were on the bell lap and had completed the race when there was actually one lap to go. Since they stopped racing, they officially registered as 'did not finish'. Angus' time of 8:33.59 put him in eighth place overall.

Rounding out the StFX contingent was Alex Cyr, a fourth year runner from Abram-Village, P.E.I. who competed in the 1500m race.  His time of 3:57.28 was good enough for tenth overall in the field of 12 competitors.
