X-Women track & field sprinter Abbi Finnan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Abbi recently completed her first year with the X-Women and is a Human Kinetics student from Kingston, Ont.

The whole weekend of AUS is so hard to pick apart to a specific favourite moment, but if I had to narrow it down it would be either when I won the 60m or at the end of the men's 4x400m when the whole team did an X chant <3

When people chew with their mouth open and I can hear it. Drives. Me. In-sane.

Athletic Therapist for a professional sports team; specifically the NHL. The water or towel girl would be fine, too.

My biggest fans are my parents! (Hi mom and dad!)
Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
I'm originally from a community outside of Oromocto, N.B. called Burton and if people have lived there long enough, the last name Finnan is always familiar to them (I have a large family!) But I've lived in Kingston, Ontario for a long time so something interesting about Kingston is it has 7 prisons (the major one just got closed) and Kingston was also the first Capital of Canada!
