Gerych named StFX Male Athlete of the Week

X-Men cross country runner David Gerych was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 9, 2008 for the fourth time this year. David, a fourth year exchange student from Louny, Czech Republic, helped lead the X-Men to a silver medal this past weekend at the CIS championship, the first ever men’s team medal for StFX. He also earned his second consecutive individual bronze medal with his third place finish in the 10k race in a time of 32:19.8
