X-Men soccer goal keeper Sam Hutchison is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Sam recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is an Arts student from Victoria, BC.

What brought you to StFX?
Former X-Men Jamar Dixon played in Victoria while I was in high school and recommended that I come for a visit to a coach of mine; I came twice during grade 12 and felt that it had the most to offer athletically and academically.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Best moment in a StFX uniform so far as been getting my first W last season vs. Mt. Allison and my first start vs. Dal in freshman year. Also scoring vs. MUN was up there.

One thing I cannot live without is…?
One thing I couldn't live without is my family

If I could have super-hero powers I would…?
If I could have one super-hero power it would be teleportation

My biggest pet peeve is…?
My biggest pet peeve is people that chew with their mouth open

My dream vacation destination is…?
My dream vacation destination would be anywhere on the Adriatic Sea

My dream job is…?
My dream job is to be a professional footballer

Tell us one thing that fans may not know about you?
One thing you might not know about me is that I have a twin sister, Emma, who lives in Baltimore
