Sean Donovan is in his 9th season with the X-Men Hockey program. Serving the past 8 seasons as an assistant coach, Coach Donovan is assuming Associate Head Coach duties for 2023-24, along with Coach Stewart. He is a former X-Men captain, graduating in 2011 as he played defence for the blue & white. Sean was the head coach of the Cape Breton West Islanders of the Nova Scotia Major Midget League for four seasons prior to his stint with the X-Men.
