Based out of Rockford, Illinois, they are the affiliate team to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Chase Marchand signs ECHL professional contractMarch 25, 2019StFX X-Men hockey goaltender Chase Marchand has signed a professional contract with the Indy Fuel of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The Fuel play out of the Central Division in the ECHL’s Western Conference and are based in Indianapolis, Indiana. They are the affiliate team to the Chicago Blackhawks and AHL’s Rockford IceHogs.

Applications now open for Junior X-Men spring development campsJanuary 03, 2019X-Men hockey head coach Brad Peddle is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Junior X-Men spring development camps. The six-week camps will be available from April 6 to May 26, 2019 for highly motivated athletes to prepare for advanced hockey programs in novice, atom, pee wee and bantam classifications.

Cook wraps up three-game series with U SPORTS all-starsDecember 13, 2018StFX X-Men forward Holden Cook, a fourth year business student from Whitby, Ont. wrapped up a three-game stint with the U SPORTS all-star team in their series against the Canadian world junior prospects in Victoria, B.C. It marked the third consecutive year that Cook competed with the all-star squad. This year the U SPORTS all-stars won the series 2-1. X-Men alumnus Patrick Grandmaitre, the current head coach of the Ottawa Gee Gees was also a part of the all-star team as an assistant coach.

The crowd was treated to 60 minutes of fast-paced hockey, featuring a scoring blitz for the X-Men in the second period led by first star and Subway Player of the Game Adam Stevens (Bedford, NS) who scored a hat trick.
