Sara Baxter of the U Sport No. 10-ranked Acadia Axewomen rugby team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 23, 2016.
A third-year business student from Moncton, N.B., Baxter scored the game-winning try in the 66th minute of the Subway AUS Rugby Semifinal versus the UPEI Panthers this past Saturday in Wolfville, N.S.
The Axewomen went on to win the game 22-17 and advance to this Friday's Subway AUS Rugby Championship final versus the StFX X-Women.
Baxter was named Subway Player of the Game for her efforts.

Name: Holden Cook
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Sport: Men's Hockey
Position: Forward
Height: 5'10"
Hometown: Oshawa, Ont.
Year of eligibility: Second
Academic program: BBA
Holden Cook of the U Sport No. 2-ranked StFX X-Men hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 23, 2016.
A second-year business student from Oshawa, Ont., Cook scored six goals and added two assists in two weekend home games.
In Friday's 7-3 loss to UPEI, he scored two goals and assisted on the third. In Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the U Sport No. 1-ranked UNB Varsity Reds, Cook scored four goals, including the overtime winner, and added an assist.
He was named Subway Player of the Game Saturday and he earned third star of the game honours Friday.
Cook currently leads the nation in scoring with nine goals and six assists for 15 points.
