Emilie Chiasson of the CIS No. 5-ranked Acadia Axewomen's rugby team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013.
A fourth-year science student in her third year of eligibility from Ottawa, Ont., Chiasson scored four tries and nine conversions in Acadia's 88-5 victory over the UPEI Panthers on Saturday.

With this performance, Chiasson becomes the new AUS record holder for the most points scored by an individual in a single regular season. The previous record of 145 points in eight regular season games was set last season by St. Francis Xavier's Magali Harvey.

Chiasson's season total now sits at 172 points with one regular season game remaining this Saturday at 7 p.m. against the reigning AUS and CIS champion X-Women.

Drew Owsley of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013.

A second-year business student from Lethbridge, Alta., Owsley backstopped the X-Men to a 2-0 shutout victory Friday night over last year's CIS silver medalists, the Saint Mary's Huskies.
He turned aside all 27 shots in the final StFX pre-season game, helping the X-Men improve their exhibition record to 4-2. In his freshman campaign last season, Drew posted a 3.01 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

The X-Men will open their regular season this Friday at 7 p.m. when they visit the defending CIS champion UNB Varsity Reds in Fredericton.
