X-Men basketball head coach Steve Konchalski is excited to announce the commitment of 6'8" forward Atik Gilao to the StFX program for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Gilao was a key member of the the NPA national champion Canada Topflight Academy in Ottawa, averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds. A native of Brampton, Ont., Gilao previously attended St. Michael's College School in Toronto and was a member of their OFSSA Provincial championship squad. Atik is the fifth member of Coach K's 2018 recruiting class and will enroll in the BSc Human Kinetics program at StFX in the fall.
