X-Men Fall Short Against Dalhousie
November 22, 2010
The StFX X-Men lost a close game to the Dalhousie Tigers 59-56 Saturday night at home. Charlie Spurr was the high scorer for StFX with 16 points.
In the first half Dalhousie Tigers held a double digit lead. Thanks to Terry Thomas' monster dunk lead by a trio of three point shots from Charlie Spurr, StFX clawed back to narrow the lead within two points.
Dalhousie Tigers and StFX stayed close the entire second half. A no-call at the end of the game on Will Silver’s three kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
Joe Schow led the way for Dalhousie with 14 in a balanced team attack.
The X-Men travel to Cape Breton Wednesday night to play the CBU Capers in a rematch of last season's AUS finals.
