McDonald's X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men running back Jordan Socholotiuk was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 3, 2018. Jordan, a 4th year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Waterford, ON scored two touchdowns and was the player of the game in StFX's 33-10 AUS semifinal playoff win over Acadia Saturday. Jordan had a 103 yard rushing TD in the game, the second longest in AUS history, along with a 52 yard rushing TD. He finished with 242 total yards on 24 carries.

McDonald's X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Alex Fedchun was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 3, 2018. Alex, a 1st year Human Kinetics student from Calgary, Alta. was a solid contributor on the X-Men defense in their 33-10 win over Acadia in the AUS semifinal playoff game Saturday. Alex had five tackles in the game, all of them solo tackles, including one tackle for a loss of three yards. In his first year of AUS competition, he had 13.5 tackles in regular season play.

X-Men kicker/punter Keiran Burnham was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 3, 2018.  Keiran, a 4th year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from Cambridge, Ont. scored 13 of the X-Men's 33 points in their 33-10 victory over Acadia Saturday in the AUS semifinal playoff game. He kicked a pair of single points, two point-after TD kicks and had field goals from 11, 21 and 53 yards out. His 53 yarded was the second longest FG in AUS history and longest in StFX history. Keiran also had 8 punts in the game for 296 yards (avg 37.0) and 4 kick-offs for 232 yards (avg 58.0).
