McDonald's X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men receiver Isaac Fagnan was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15, 2018. Isaac, a 2nd year Business student from Bonnyville, Alta. led all receivers in Saturday's game in StFX's 42-2 win over Bishop's and received player of the game honours. He had 7 receptions for 125 yards including a 32 yard catch on the one-yard line that set-up a fourth quarter touchdown. Isaac also had 1 punt return for 13 yards and 1 kick-off return for 15 yards on special teams. 

McDonald's X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Tyler Cordeiro was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15, 2018. Tyler, a 5th year Human Kinetics student from Oakville, ON led the X-Men defense in their 42-2 win over Bishop's Saturday. Tyler had 3 solo and 3 assisted tackles for 4.5 in the game and added a sack for a loss of a yard and a break-up. He currently has 13.5 total tackles on the season. 

McDonald's X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men kicker/punter Keiran Burnham was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15, 2018. Kieran, a 4th year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from Cambridge, Ont. continued his strong kicking game in StFX's 42-2 win over Bishop's, scoring 14 points on four point-after kicks, one rouge and three field goals. Kieran booted field goals from 12, 29 and 30 yards. His 7 punts in the game totaled 310 yards for a 44.3 average as he had 2 punts within the 20. His 6 kick-offs totaled 339 yards for a 56.6 average. Keiran is currently leading the AUS in punting average at 42.6.
