McDonald's X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men running back Jordan Socholotiuk was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 15, 2017. Jordan, a 4th year Human Kinetics student from Fort McMurray, AB scored a 38 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter in the X-Men's recent loss to Acadia. He had 12 rushes in the game for 84 total yards, along with 1 reception for 3 yards. Averaging 117.6 yards/game on the season, Jordan is currently 3rd overall in AUS rushing and 2nd in total rushing yards (823) with 4 touchdowns this year.

X-Men linebacker Adam Kuntz was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 15, 2017. Adam, a 5th year Business student from Camrose, AB played a strong game on defense in the X-Men's recent loss to Acadia. He had 7.5 tackles in the game, including 4 solo tackles. A veteran leader on the X defense, Adam is currently 5th overall in AUS tackling with 42.5 tackles on the season (30 solo tackles), averaging 6.1 tackles/game.

X-Men defensive back Nathaniel Fermin was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 15, 2017. Nate, a 4th year Arts student from Pickering, ON put forth an outstanding effort and coverage on special teams Saturday in the X-Men's recent loss to Acadia. He had 4.5 tackles in the game, including 4 solo tackles. Nate is currently 2nd overall in AUS defense with 47 tackles on the season, 40 of them solo tackles. He averages 6.7 tackles/game.
