X-Men Football Offensive Athlete of the Week

X-Men wide receiver Donald Tabor was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 19, 2014. Donald, a fourth year Business student (3rd year eligibility) from Dartmouth, NS, was the top receiver for the X-Men in their recent 36-6 victory over SMU on Saturday. He had 5 receptions for 86 yards, averaging 17.2 yards per catch, including a 14 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Donald is currently fifth overall in AUS receiving yards/game at 47.1.

X-Men Football Defensive Athlete of the Week

X-Men defensive back Demetrius Ferguson was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 19, 2014. Demetrius, a fourth year Business student (5th year eligibility) from Nassau Bahamas led all StFX defenders in tackles in their recent 36-6 win over SMU with 8 solo tackles and 1 assisted tackle in the game. He is currently fourth overall in the AUS conference in total tackles (37) and tackles per game (5.3).
