X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men wide receiver Randy Roseway was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14, 2014. Randy, a fourth year Arts student from Ottawa, Ont., scored three touchdowns in the X-Men's close 27-25 loss to Mount A on Saturday. He had 24 and 27 yard touchdown receptions in the 1st quarter and a 55 yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Overall Randy had 5 receptions for 145 yards in the game, averaging 29 yards/catch. He also had 1 punt return and 4 kick returns on special teams for 235 total all-purpose yards.

X-Men football defensive back Paolo Edwards was named the StFX Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14, 2014. Paolo, a third year Arts student from Hamilton, Ont. had 4 solo tackles in the X-Men's recent 27-25 loss to Mount Allison on Saturday. He also recorded one tackle for a loss of three yards and had three break-ups in the game, contributing strongly to the X-Men's defensive efforts.X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week

X-Men punter/kicker Hayden Peters was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14, 2014. Hayden, a third year Human Kinetics student from Inverary, Ont. averaged 58.2 yards/kick on 4 kickoffs in StFX's recent 27-25 loss to Mount A, with 233 total yards. He also booted 13 punts for 345 yards, averaging 26.5 yards/punt, including 6 punts inside the 20. Hayden completed a pass for 33 yards on a fake punt play and on defense recorded 4 solo and 1 assisted tackles.
