X-Men wide receiver Devon Bailey was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28, 2013. Devon, a fourth year Arts student from Mississauga, Ont., had five receptions for 68 total yards in the X-Men's recent 12-6 loss to Saint Mary's. Devon finished second overall in the AUS this season in receiving, averaging 66.5 yards/game with 36 total receptions for 532 yards.

X-Men football linebacker Sanmi Adereti was named the StFX Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28, 2013. Sanmi, a third year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Brampton, Ont. had 5.5 tackles (4 solo and 3 assisted) in the X-Men's recent 12-6 loss to Saint Mary's. Sanmi also had a sack for a loss of one yard and two break-ups in the game. He finished the AUS season ninth overall in conference tackling with 42, averaging 5.2 tackles/game.

X-Men linebacker James Menzies was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28, 2013. James, a third year Business student from Montreal, Que. was singled out for his special teams defensive coverage in the X-Men's recent 12-6 loss to Saint Mary's. He recorded 5 total tackles in the game (3 solo and 4 assisted) and also had a break-up. James finished the AUS season with 25.5 total tackles.
