X-Men running back Ashton Dickson was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 20, 2013. Ashton, a third year Arts student from Ottawa, Ont., scored the X-Men's only touchdown in their recent 27-11 loss to Acadia, rushing for a 10 yard major in the fourth quarter. He also led the X-Men with 15 carries in the game for 40 yards. Ashton is third overall in AUS rushing, averaging 60.6 yards/game.

X-Men football linebacker Ron Omara was named the StFX Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 20, 2013. Ron, a third year Arts student from Alymer, Que. led all tacklers in the game in the X-Men's 27-11 loss to Acadia on Saturday. He had 10.5 total tackles (9 solo and 3 assisted), including two tackles for a loss of 11 yards, one of which was a sack for an 8 yard loss. Ron also had one forced fumble and a QB hurry in the game. He currently leads the AUS in tackles with 55.5 on the season.

X-Men defensive back Hugo Rajotte was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 20, 2013. Hugo, a fourth year Arts student from Markham, Ont. was singled out for his special teams defensive coverage in the X-Men's recent 27-11 loss to Acadia. He recorded 9.5 total tackles in the game (9 solo and 1 assisted) and also had a forced fumble. Hugo is currently second overall in AUS tackles with 50.5 on the season.
