Roseway, Rajotte & Rasch named X-Men football athletes of the week

X-Men wide receiver Randy Roseway was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013. Randy, a fourth year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from Ottawa, Ont., scored the X-Men's second touchdown in a recent 42-13 loss to Mount A for his first touchdown of the season. Randy had 4 receptions for 64 yards in the game, and also returned two kickoffs for 38 yards.

X-Men football defensive back Hugo Rajotte was named the StFX Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013. Hugo, a fourth year Arts student from Markham, Ont. led all tacklers in the X-Men's loss to Mount A on Saturday. He had 13 total tackles (9 solo and 8 assisted), including one tackle for a loss of 3 yards. Hugo also had two breakups in the game. He is third overall in AUS tackles with 41 on the season.

X-Men wide receiver/snapper Travis Rasch was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013. Travis, a fourth year Human Kinetics student (2nd year eligibility) from Calgary, Alta. was singled out for his outstanding long snapping on the special teams unit in the X-Men's recent game, despite a 42-13 loss to Mount A. He has played in five games to date for the blue and white.
