    X-Men wide receiver Devon Bailey was drafted sixth overall in the 2014 CFL Draft on May 13th, being selected in the first round by the Edmonton Eskimos.

    Three X-Men competed for the East squad in the annual CIS East West Bowl this past Saturday in London, Ont. The all-star game that features CIS players who will be eligible for the following year's CFL draft saw the East defeat the West by a 19-12 margin. Representing StFX was running back Ashton Dickson, wide receiver Randy Roseway and linebacker Ron Omara.

Wide receiver Devon Bailey and offensive lineman Terry Hart attended the national CFL combine in Toronto as a contingent of 40 of the top players eligible for the upcoming CFL draft, while defensive backs Charlton Elliott and Demetrius Ferguson and defensive lineman Samni Adereti attended the Montreal regional combine.
