- Wednesday 10 – 1pm to 3pm

- Friday 12 – 8am to 10am
- Monday 15 – 1pm to 3pm
- Tuesday 16- 8am to 10am
- Wednesday 17 – 1pm to 3pm
- Thursday 18 – 8am to 10am

KC Blades Learn to Skate Program (Children 5+)
Class Description
A skating program for all levels of skating ability for children ages 5 -12. Creative movement, hockey skills, innovative games, music and fun directed by Charlotte Gallant, a former Disney on Ice Soloist. Children are taught in small groups based on ability and age, assisted by dedicated StFX students.
Start Date
Session 1 begins: October 16, 2023
Session 2 begins: January 22, 2024
Class Time
Mondays - Main Arena, 3:30pm - 4:20pm
Tuesdays - Aux Arena, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
50 minute classes for 6 weeks
Cost
regular rate $82.50 (plus applicable taxes), XREC members $72.50 (plus applicable taxes)

Equipment Requirements
Helmets are required for all skaters

Cancellation of classes
Please note if classes need to be cancelled due to inclement weather an email will be sent to participants at approx. 1pm on the day of the event. Cancelled classes will be rescheduled at the end of the course if facility/instructors are available.
ADULT LEARN TO SKATE
Class Description
A skating program for all levels of skating ability for Adults ages 16 and up. Learn to skate or develop new skating skills in a relaxed atmosphere. classes are taught by Charlotte Gallant with the assistance of StFX students. Enjoy a great evening of exercise and fun! Skates are not provided.

Session 1: October 15, 2023
Session 2: January 21, 2024
Class Time
Sundays at 7:00pm
50 minute classes for 6 weeks
Cost
regular rate $60.00, XStudents/XREC member/student $40.00 (plus applicable taxes)

Helmets are required for all skaters
Equipment loan program is available at the County of Antigonish Recreation
