Athletics Awards Gala to be live streamed on April 2nd

The STFX Athletic Department is set to honour the athletic accomplishments of our varsity student-athletes this week at our annual Athletic Awards Gala. The gala event is scheduled for Wednesday evening, April 2nd at 6:00 pm and will be livestreamed at http://bit.ly/stfxathleticsawards. The event is closed to the general public as student-athletes, coaches and staff will gather at the STFX Keating Centre to celebrate accomplishments of the 2024-25 season.
STFX coaches will recognize all first-year student-athletes by distributing their traditional STFX varsity pin, while graduating student-athletes will receive a framed varsity X for their contributions to their teams over the past four or five years. Each varsity team will hand out individual awards for rookie of the year, coach's award and most valuable player, while Iron X awards will be awarded to athletes for dedication to sports performance.
Major awards will be announced for STFX Coach of the Year, X-Ceptional Award, Male & Female Community X-Cellence awards and the Male & Female Student-Athletes of the Year honours.
