The 25th annual Father Kehoe Golf Classic, presented by the X Varsity Club, took place Friday afternoon, July 27th at the Antigonish Golf & Country Club. A field of 31 teams of 124 golfers participated in the four-person scramble, which honors the legacy of StFX alumnus and former athlete, coach and Athletic Director Father George Kehoe, in addition to raising funds for scholarships for StFX student-athletes.
Team Dunphy won top low gross honors (56) as the tournament champions. The team consisted of Adam Dunphy, Bobby Dunphy, Neldie MacDonald and Mike Murphy and took home the MacDonald Chisholm Insurance Trophy, as presented by Jake Brien.
The tournament runner up (57) was Team Synishin, whose team members included Wayne Synishin, Peter Synishin, Doug Synishin and Robert Cameron.
The recipients of the Irene McFarland Memorial trophy for the top low net score (43) in the tournament was IMP Solutions, consisting of Dave Joyce, Chris MacPhee, Dave MacKinnon and Andrew Kyte. Alva Construction took home second low net honors (43.7) with team members consisting of Eric Proctor, Brian Snyder, Ryan Morrell and Craig Morrell.

Director of Athletics & Recreation Leo MacPherson presents Bill Kiely with a plaque of recognition for his 25 years of service on the Father Kehoe Golf Classic organizing committee. Bill has been a part of every Kehoe Classic event since its inception.
