X-Men hockey forward Zack MacQueen was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 25, 2015. Zack, a third year Human Kinetics student from Woodstock, Ont., tallied five points in two X-Men victories this week. In Wednesday’s 3-1 win over DAL, Zack was the player of the game as he scored two goals, both in the second period. In Saturday’s 3-1 win over St. Thomas, he again scored two goals, including the game winner with under two minutes to play. He then assisted on the final X-Men goal. Those two wins, along with a 5-1 victory over UPEI on Friday helped launch the X-Men (16-7-1) into a tie for third place in the AUS standings.
