X-Women basketball forward Lindsay Lessard was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 22, 2015. Lindsay, a third year Human Kinetics student from Waterloo, ON played a well-rounded game for the X-Women despite a loss to SMU on Friday night in their final regular season game. She scored 10 points and had 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Though the X-Women struggled with a 4-16 record this season, Lindsay ranked third overall in AUS scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game. She was sixth overall in AUS rebounding, averaging 7.0 rebounds per game.
