X-Men hockey defenseman Nathan Chiarlitti was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, 2014. Nathan, a third year Human Kinetics student (2nd year eligibility) from Maple, Ont. was singled out for his strong defensive play in two weekend games. He assisted on the X-Men’s game winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Moncton on Friday night and continued his strong defensive play Saturday in a close 3-2 overtime loss to UNB. Nathan continues to play against the opposing teams’ top lines and is a key factor on the X-Men penalty kill unit. He has three goals and two assists so far this season.
