X-Women track & field sprinter/jumper Bridget Brennan was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 25, 2015. Bridget, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Beechwood, NB had two personal bests at the McGill meet this past weekend. She finished 7th overall and 4th amongst CIS jumpers in the long jump with a personal best 5.41m, ranking her 2nd in the AUS and 14th in the country. Bridget also ran a personal best in the 300m race at 42.05 and was 25th overall. She is currently ranked 3rd in the AUS in that event. Finally, she led the 4x400m relay team to a 6th place finish with a time of 4:00.26, breaking the StFX record in that event and putting the team in the top ten in the CIS.
