X-Women rugby center Breanna Allison was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21, 2014. Breanna, a second year Arts student from Cole Harbour, N.S. made many key tackles and scored two tries to help the CIS No. 3 X-Women defeat the No. 7 Axewomen 45-17 Saturday night at Acadia in a battle of the top two teams in the AUS. Breanna scored the first try of the game in the 24th minute and again later in the second half. With four tries on the season, she has been a consistent presence amongst the X-Women backs as the team improved to 3-0 and took sole possession of first place in the conference.
