X-Women Basketball guard Melina Collins was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 15, 2023. Melina, a third year Human Kinetics student from Brookside, NS played an integral role in the X-Women’s 80-74 win over Dalhousie at home Friday night. She scored a game-high 15 points and hauled in a game-high eight rebounds, along with two steals on the night. Melina is currently averaging 12.2 points/game and 4.1 rebounds/game for the X-Women this season.
