X-Men soccer midfielder Randy Ribeiro was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 4, 2015. Randy, a fourth year Human Kinetics student (5th year eligibility) from Cambridge, ON put forth an exceptional defensive effort in his midfield role as the X-Men recorded two weekend shutout victories. In Friday’s 2-0 win over SMU, Randy scored the first goal of the game and had 5 shots. In Sunday’s 3-0 win over previously undefeated Acadia, the X-Men captain assisted on StFX’s third goal and had 2 shots.
